The Candela GentleLASE system, a revolutionary long-pulse, high-energy alexandrite laser, emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.
With the Candela GentleYAG system, a laser beam bypasses the surface of the skin, avoiding surface melanin of the darker skinned patient. Absorption of the laser energy takes place at the base of the hair where it is disabled permanently. The Cynosure Vectus is the newest laser joining our trio of laser hair removal devices, and can be used on all skin types. This special diode laser is delegated to large body areas due to it’s speed and large spot size, so treatments are faster than ever on areas that would otherwise take more time.
