Orlando’s permanent cosmetics is a process also known as “Micro-pigment implantation.” Tiny pigment pixels are implanted into the skin to create an illusion or enhancement where hair or color is lacking. There is, however, more than one technique with which to apply color to the skin. A properly trained and certified derma-pigmentation specialist performs each procedure through the modern, safe method of micro-pigment implantation.
Though often compared to standard tattooing in concept (both apply permanent color to the skin), our technique is actually much closer to electrolysis. Using an extremely mild application, in a most delicate procedure, M.P.I. uses a completely controlled method of applying subtle micro insertions to create a “natural” look. We keep your best interests in mind! When complete, the individual does not look as if he or she is wearing cosmetics, but rather appears as if the person just naturally doesn’t need any make-up at all!
What Are The Advantages of Permanent Cosmetics?
Permanent makeup is perfect for the busy person who has little time to apply make-up. The fact that permanent makeup is 100% water and smudge-proof makes it very appealing for the athlete who wants to look natural and those with oily skin whose make-up seems to disappear after a short time. Also, those with allergies to conventional cosmetics may benefit from the application of permanent makeup.
Is Permanent Make-up Really Permanent?
Here at Laser Center of Orlando, many of our patients wonder if permanent makeup is really permanent. The answer to this question is although some minor “fading” may occur, the pigment will remain in the skin for a long period of time. With proper skin care, the effect of the cosmetics should last roughly a few years between “touch-ups”. Orlando’s permanent cosmetics is the perfect solution to always feel your best.

Is There Discomfort Involved?
The procedure is performed in a clinical environment using new and sterile probes for each individual. This minimizes risks to the patient. In the most delicate areas, some minor discomfort may be experienced. The use of topical anesthetic helps to lessen most discomfort. Everyone has a different threshold of pain but overall the discomfort is short-lived in exchange for the long-term reward that you get from the procedure.
